I-Peace Unikue (Shawn Jefferson), was born in Durham, North Carolina on May 16, 1975. I spent a lot of my time growing up along the east-coast in various suburbs of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and New York.

I'm a visual artist, a graphic artist (for print, web, and video), a musician, and an aspiring filmmaker. I have a passion for manipulating image and sound.

Lately, most of my work has been dealing with the imagery of dreams. I've been facinated for quite some time, with their structure and symbolism. I've been exploring and studying how our virtual perception of the senses are translated differently in our subconscious mind. My work has been a demonstration of how our minds group colors, noises, settings, objects, and characters together in a seemingly ambiguous manner, but in actuality have very conceivable connections; connections we make subconsciously more often than not. My intention is to compare and contrast what these images and sounds mean to us in our dream life, and how they manifest themselves to us in our conscious lives.
